Kali Arulpragasam is back with another fierce collection for her Super Fertile line called Hunger!
“The Hunger collection was designed to raise awareness of the current world food crisis. By crafting the beads from precious metals such as silver and plating them in gold I wanted to symbolize how precious these staple foods are to starving countries in the battle against the rising cost of food. EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO EAT. We were asked by Oxfam to work with them in the battle facing the developing world to feed itself. As a result we will be donating 7% of our profits to Oxfam to help with this cause.”

G-Star in Victory Park has a great event going on this Thursday night… The company is partnering with the UN to continue to make a difference where its needed. With every hundred dollars a customer spends, a meal will be donated to someone in need in the developing world. It is just such a great cause and although it may not seem huge to us, it definitely means so much more to those that need it. So come out this Thursday night to celebrate the fact that we can shop while helping others! We are so proud to be taking part in something like this. And if you can’t make it on Thursday, be sure to make your way out sometime between then and the 19th of October because that’s how long it will be going on. It will just be EXTRA fun Thursday night with Joe Vega DJ’n, Daniel Lehman photographing, and sips to be uh sip sip sippin’.
