JOYRICH @ Revolve!

December 3rd, 2008 by quan

I’ve been checking this blog forever & I’ve been very much dying to visit the store in L.A., which carries not only JOYRICH gear but a lot of other tight lines as well. So anyways, during my online Black Friday shopping spree I found that Revolve Clothing is now offering the line. Here are some of the pieces I really liked. You can peep the rest of the collection by clicking the link up top.

I think these are my favorite tights I’ve seen so far for fall! I’m lovin the gold studs Gucci is using on alot of their latest clothes and shoes, and these are just as cute and way cheaper! $68 at Nasty Gal.

I’m lovin all the funky leggings coming out! I really wanted the black and gold ones quan posted a few days ago from Nasty Gal, but they’re already sold out! :( Here are a few other cute ones I came across on 80spurple.com. The black and grey ones are by Hellz Bellz and the other 3 are by Costume Dept.

M.I.A.’s awaited new clothing line has finally been launched on her website! It contains t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, leggings, jackets, tank tops and body suits, all in M.I.A.’s signature style. The clothes are really cute! My favorites are the “Mexico Bodysuit” and “Afrika Leggings.” I love the colors and patterns. My only complaint is the price-point. $75 for a t-shirt and $85 for leggings is a bit much - when you’re broke! Check out her site HERE

…I’m kind of torn about these but I think they could be fun, especially at night. Check them out at Nasty Gal, they’re all less than sixty bucks; I especially like the black and gold ones in the middle, they have an ethnic edge to them. They also just put up these new shades, which are similar to the Ralph Lauren ones Leila posted a few weeks ago but these are only forty bucks!

Gold Rush

I gotta get these! These skinny jeans are by BDG and are a perfect shade of gold for pants. Don’t get me wrong, the loud lame gold American Apparel leggings are definitely hot, but they don’t work for everything - sometimes you need a more subdued gold. And I actually really like BDG jeans, they fit me really well, come in funky colors, and are AFFORDABLE! These are $54 and you can get em at Urban Outfitters.

PEGLEG NYC - Summer 2008

I guess I’m a sucker for the preppy pastel pretty boy look right now?? I’m digging Pegleg’s line this season. It reminds me of that qt Andrew McCarthy & his a$$hole friend from Pretty In Pink. You know? Anyways, all you boys should pick up something from the online shop….the swim trunks @ least…

Black Rats - The New Denim for Fall

June 8th, 2008 by quan

I could not resist pre-ordering these. Fashion blogs, Vogue, & other critics are calling these leather type leggings the new denim for the fall. They’re from Sass & Bide (my new favorite) & they are being dubbed “Black Rats”.

At the Denim Warehouse sale this past weekend I came across a bunch of super cute jeans by “Dittos.” The brand, by Frankie B, was very popular in the 1970s and was brought back to life in 2007. Their pieces are modern but still have that vintage flair. Their website (www.dittosbrand.com) doesn’t have a huge selection but does carry their cute classics.

If you don’t got some already, get out and get em girrrl! High waisted shorts are definitely must haves for the summer… It’s best to try them on though, because some styles can flatten out the booty, and we dont want that!
