Sorry for the lack of posts lately. We all got lots going on these days! And FYI my cousins and I are working on a new exciting project that I will post about asap, so keep checking back! Anyway, I saw the movie “The Spirit” the other day, only because it was the only movie playing at the time, and it was horrible. Don’t waste your time even renting it. There were a few cool outfits though, and I am OBSESSED with the glasses Scarlett Johansson wore in the movie! I’ve always loved the cat eye look, and the subtle gold and rhinestones are a perfect touch! I’ve been hunting online everywhere for information about them with no luck I did find the actual pair from the movie on ebay (supposedly) for “$9,99.” Can’t figure out if they mean $9,999 or $999, but either way I can’t afford it. Oh well, I will keep my eyes open for a similar pair…Let me know if you have any info on them!

Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton

This collection just debuted in Tokyo & it will hit Louis Vuitton stores everywhere else in March. Her collection of accessories for the line will include duffel bags, clutches, & retro wedges. It seems like it is going to be a super simple collection, just like Sofia’s own elegant, classic style. Can’t wait to see the collection in its entirety!

“The Hunger collection was designed to raise awareness of the current world food crisis. By crafting the beads from precious metals such as silver and plating them in gold I wanted to symbolize how precious these staple foods are to starving countries in the battle against the rising cost of food. EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO EAT. We were asked by Oxfam to work with them in the battle facing the developing world to feed itself. As a result we will be donating 7% of our profits to Oxfam to help with this cause.”
